From Holocaust to Redeemed with Walter Deege
Walter Deege will talk about his own experience during the occupation of Holland by the German forces in World War II. He will discuss how he and other children found of a way to fight the occupiers as well as the tragedies of the war. Walter will talk about the liberation from the occupation and how people dealt with it.
A Q&A will follow the 60 minute presentation.
About the Presenter: Walter Deege was 8 years old at the end of World War II. He came to the US at age 18, went to USC, married and joined the army. He then went back to school and to work. Walter now resides in Helena.
