Big Read at Brothers Tapworks Soapbox Series

Montana Free Press journalist Mara Silvers and Dennis Swibold, a former newsman and recently retired journalism professor at the University of Montana, will join former Gov. Steve Bullock in conversation about how the First Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of the press has evolved from early 20th century to today. They’ll discuss questions of trust in the media, including how to evaluate information from an expanding array of sources. Join them Monday, October 7, at 6 p.m. at Brothers Tapworks’ Soapbox Series.
