Color Party - Summer Library Program Kickoff Event

We’re having a Color Party in Pioneer Park to kick off the 2025 Summer Library Program! Watch colors come to life when you (carefully) throw color powders at your friends. Complete an obstacle course – and watch out for those color powders! Concoct your own face paint, and take part in creating some collaborative splat art. We’re encouraging participants to wear white clothing to show all the colors you play with during the kick-off.

Cancellations due to weather, fire conditions or air quality will be posted by 12:00 pm the day of the event on the library website, www.lclibrary.org, and social media accounts @LewisandClarkLibraryHelena.

The color powder is a blend of food-grade cornstarch, baking soda and FD&C dyes. Anyone who has asthma, is allergic to any of the ingredients or has any respiratory issues should exercise caution when participating in color powder events.
